It is situated near the town of Slivengrad. It was built at about the end of 11th and the beginning of 12th c. under Aleksei I Komnin. Its walls encompass an area of 6.5 decares with the shape of an irregular tetragon. A Thracian tomb is located near the fortress, built during the 6th BC and constructed from 2-metre-long stone blocks. Unique ornaments and items were found here.
