Belasitsa is a mountain in the southwestern part of Bulgaria. It is divided among Greece, the Republic of Macedonia and Bulgaria. Its highest point is Mount Radomir (2,029 m), and Mount Tumba (1,885 m) is the place where the borders of Bulgaria, Greece and the Republic of Macedonia meet. The town of Petrich is situated in the foothills of Belasitsa, where the Kongura reserve is located, where natural ecosystems of beech and domestic chestnut-tree are preserved.
