The National Ethnographic Museum is housed in the building of the former Royal Palace.

The museum houses collections of the produce from traditional crafts, costumes, fabrics, embroidery, jewellery, musical instruments. More than 50 000 exhibits dating as of 17th to the middle of the 20th c. are preserved here, representing the traditional Bulgarian fine crafts and art from the entire Bulgarian ethnic territory.

The Ethnographic museum is located on "Batenberg" Square
(working hours: in the summer 10:00-17:00; in the winter 11:00-16:00; closed on Monday)
